This FENCEMATE double-pin corner bracket is the fixing for joining timber sleepers at a right angle. It’s the part you reach for at the corners of a raised bed, planter, border or retaining wall, where two sleepers meet and the joint needs to stay square and solid. The double pin spreads the fixing over more points, which is useful where a corner carries weight.
It’s made from heavy-duty 2mm galvanised steel. That matters outdoors: the galvanising resists rust and corrosion, so the bracket holds up to rain and British weather and won’t rot the way a timber pin can. It works with all standard sleeper sizes, and it’s quick and straightforward to fit, which makes it as suited to a weekend garden project as to a professional landscaping job.
This is the bare galvanised version. If you’re using green-treated sleepers and want the bracket to blend in, the same bracket is available in an Olive RAL 7002 powder-coated finish. Brackets are fixed with timber screws, available separately.

What’s a corner bracket for?

What’s the difference between galvanised and olive?
This is the bare galvanised steel finish, which resists rust and suits any sleeper. The Olive RAL 7002 version adds a green powder-coated finish that blends in with green-treated sleepers. Both are the same 2mm steel bracket. The choice is about looks and a little extra weather protection.
