HeatLogs (12)
£8.00
HeatLogs are compressed sawdust logs that give a lot of heat from a clean, tidy fuel. This pack of 12 suits open fires and multi-fuel stoves, and they’re versatile enough to use outdoors in summer in a chimenea or fire basket too.
They’re made from a sawmill by-product: sawdust that’s dried and compacted under high pressure and heat. The wood’s own natural lignin binds the log together, so there are no adhesives or chemicals added, just compressed wood. They burn with long-lasting, high radiant heat and very little ash, with no sparks or spitting, and they make an excellent mixer alongside ordinary wood logs.

HeatLogs are a clean, efficient way to heat a room, made from compressed sawdust rather than split timber. This pack of 12 is a handy quantity for open fires and multi-fuel stoves, and because they burn cleanly with no sparks or spitting, they’re just as good outdoors in a chimenea or fire basket on a summer evening.
They’re made from a by-product of the sawmill industry: sawdust that’s dried, then compacted under high pressure and heat. During that process the wood’s own natural lignin is released and sets as it cools, binding the log together. That means there are no adhesives or chemicals involved, just wood. Being dense and dry, they produce long-lasting, high radiant heat and leave the minimum of ash, which keeps the grate tidy.
They work well on their own, and they’re an excellent mixer burned alongside wood logs, helping a wood fire give out more steady heat. As they burn hotter than seasoned logs, you can manage the burn rate to suit.
