How long does delivery take?
Usually 3 to 4 working days. A next day option is available. Emergency deliveries can often be arranged within 24 to 48 hours. Times may vary in winter.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
We cannot guarantee it. If you have run out and we are already delivering in your area that day, we will do our best to help.
What is the minimum order?
500 litres, a quantity set by government. If your tank will not take 500 litres we cannot complete the order, and additional charges may apply.
Are your prices competitive?
Yes. As an independent supplier we price daily against the market, so it pays to call. The price quoted when you order is the price you pay.
Will you tell me when delivery is due?
Yes. If we have a phone number for you, we will text or call the day before.
Do I need to be in?
No, as long as we can reach your tank. We give 24 hours’ notice so you can unlock any gates or padlocks. The driver will leave a delivery slip.
Can you reach awkward properties?
Our tankers are four-wheelers and our hoses run to around 180 feet. Very few properties are beyond us. If a driver cannot deliver, we will always let you know.
Do you sell premium kerosene?
Yes. We supply the Exocet additive, which we recommend for Aga users. It improves the kerosene and helps it burn cleaner.
Is delivery safe?
Yes. We follow strict safety standards and comply with all regulations on every delivery.
Why hasn’t my Watchman registered the delivery?
Watchman gauges can take up to 24 hours to update after delivery.
What do I do if my plastic tank leaks?
Rub a traditional bar of soap into the hole or split to stem the flow temporarily, and catch as much fuel as you can. For tank replacement we recommend a local tank specialist.
How do I know if my metal tank is leaking?
A damp patch on the tank on a dry day usually means it is starting to fail and needs replacing.
