Harringtons Water Softener Block Salt (2 x 4kg)

Harringtons water softener block salt is our own-label block salt, made to do the same job as the branded blocks for less. It’s a food-grade salt in the standard block format, for softeners that are block-fed rather than tablet or granular, and it’s supplied as a 2 x 4kg pack.

The job it does is simple but important. Your softener relies on salt to keep stripping the hardness out of your water, which is what protects your kettle, pipes and appliances from limescale and keeps the water gentle on skin and hair. Block salt sits in the tank and dissolves down steadily, so keeping a softener topped up is just a matter of replacing the blocks as they go. Make sure your softener takes blocks before buying, as block, tablet and granular salt are not interchangeable.

As our own brand, it’s a value choice. There’s a minimum order of 10 packs on this product, and the per-pack price falls the more you order, as low as £4.50 a pack. The minimum order is simply the smallest order we deliver. It isn’t the point at which the lowest price applies.
