The Calor 3.9kg propane gas bottle is the small one, and it earns its place when you need a focused, high-temperature flame from something you can pick up with one hand. Most people buying it are running small industrial burners, or doing light trade and maintenance work where a full-size cylinder would just get in the way.

It stands around 34cm tall and 24cm across, so it stores and travels without any fuss. The bottle connects through a screw-on regulator, and you’ll want a suitable 37mbar screw-on propane regulator to go with it.

Sold as a refill on a like-for-like exchange, you’ll need an empty 3.9kg Calor cylinder to swap. Starting from scratch, you can add a Calor cylinder deposit instead. We deliver bottled gas across our local delivery area for a small fixed fee, so it’s worth checking your postcode is covered before you order.
