The Calor 3.9kg propane gas bottle is the smallest propane cylinder in the Calor range, built for jobs where portability counts for more than capacity. It gives you a clean, high-temperature flame in a bottle light enough to pick up with one hand and carry to the work.

It’s mainly used with small industrial burners and torches, and for light trade and maintenance jobs. If you do occasional work that needs a gas flame and don’t want a heavy cylinder taking up space in the van or workshop, this is usually the size that makes sense. At about 34cm high and 24cm in diameter, it stores on a shelf and travels in a footwell without any fuss.

Propane bottles in this range use a screw-on regulator with the thread on the inside, so you’ll need a suitable 37mbar screw-on propane regulator to run your appliance. Buying a refill works on exchange. You hand over an empty 3.9kg Calor propane cylinder and take a full one in its place. If you haven’t got an empty to swap, add a Calor cylinder deposit to the order and that covers the first bottle.
