The Hobbyweld Argon Ultra cylinder is the big-capacity choice for anyone who welds a fair amount. It’s pure argon filled to a minimum purity of 99.995%, the standard shielding gas for TIG welding stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. On a MIG welder with the correct wire it covers aluminium and alloys too.
The Ultra is 20 litres water capacity, filled to 300 bar, so it holds well over twice the gas of the Original cylinder. It also has a built-in contents gauge, which is the part professionals tend to want: you can see at a glance how much gas is left rather than guessing mid-job.
