They’re dried to an average moisture content below 20%, which is the Ready to Burn benchmark, so they light readily and burn cleanly and efficiently rather than hissing and smoking the way damp wood does. Lower moisture also means more of the energy goes into heat, so you get a hotter burn for your money.

The barrow bag is the easy part. The logs arrive in a ventilated bag that keeps the wood dry, and we deliver it on a sack trolley so it can be set down exactly where you’d like it. There’s no need to tip the bag out or restack the logs, which is a real help if the log store is round the back or up a step.
