Lifestyle Mini Heater

The Lifestyle Mini is a portable gas heater built to warm a room at low cost, the kind of heater that takes the chill off a space without running up a heating bill. It runs on a 7kg butane cylinder, and helpfully the gas hose and 21mm butane regulator are included, so once you’ve added a bottle you’re ready to go.

In use it’s straightforward and movable. Three heat settings let you dial the warmth up to a maximum of 4.2kW, and the piezo push-button ignition lights it without matches. Castor wheels and carry handles mean you can wheel it between rooms or tuck it away when it’s not needed, and the cylinder sits neatly in a back panel.

It comes with the safety features you’d want on a gas room heater: a flame failure device that shuts off the gas if the flame goes out, and an oxygen depletion system that responds if oxygen in the room drops. As with any gas appliance, use it in a ventilated space and follow the maker’s instructions. It measures roughly 42cm wide, 44cm deep and 73cm high.
